Overview

Welcome to the official documentation for the Society Protocol Web3 Outpostβ€”the censorship-resistant Schelling point and launchpad bridging humanity from Web3 / Nation States to Web4 / Synchronized States.

🌟 What is the Web3 Outpost?

The Web3 Outpost is an Ethereum-based application designed to preserve community alignment, maintain censorship-resistant accounts, and record verified histories of contributions during the multi-decade transition to Society Protocol (SP).

Core Purpose & Architecture

  1. The Schelling Point: Serves as a resilient, decentralized gathering ground for the Society Protocol movement, core team, advisors, partner communities, and open-source contributors.

  2. Subjective Contribution (Accounts & Badges): Issues sybil-resistant Accounts and Badges (ERC-1155) that construct a subjective identity map of user credentials, zkTLS proofs, referral chains, and characteristics (determining WHO gets invited as Genesis Actors in Web4 instances).

  3. Objective Contribution (SPEC Token): The SPEC token (ERC-20) stores objective contribution value (determining HOW MUCH Energy each account receives at genesis).

  4. Genesis Launchpad for SP Instances: When the Society Protocol software MVP releases (in ~3–5 years), thousands of independent Web4 SP Instances will spawn. The Web3 Outpost and SPEC token holdings provide the legitimate starting parameters for these instances.
